Explorer 23-Probe 1-15 mm
Periodontal Probe 1-15mm + Explorer is a combination instrument that is double-ended, and combines Probe 1-15mm + Explorer 23 in one instrument. Probe 1-15mm is a single-ended instrument that used in the assessment of pocket depth. It has a thin, long and blunt tip that measures the pocket depth around tooth to assess the health of periodontium. The instrument is engraved with marks on its tip for legibility and greater precision. Explorer 23 is also known as “Shephard’s hook”. It is a single-ended instrument. It is used for detecting tooth decay at tooth enamel. It is commonly used in dental armamentarium.
